'As a provocative metaphor for life, 'Checkers, Chess or Something else?' plays into one of Goldie's favourite sayings, which is, "Why play Checkers when you could play Chess"...The luxurious and expensive bottle of King Louis 13th, knocks over the pawns on the chessboard, taking it a step further with, "Why play Chess when you can play something else?"
The ART Lore
High-stakes indulgence meets tactical luxury. Set against a saturated crimson backdrop, “Checkers, Chess or Something Else?” places an iconic bottle of LouisXIII squarely on the board as the ultimate gambit piece. Flanked by gilded chessmen and guided by a manicured hand, the piece captures a decadent blend of luxury pop surrealism, power dynamics, and unapologetic glamour. It is an arresting focal point designed to bring warmth, rich contrast, and refined drama to contemporary spaces.
